Video Sharing Websites That Pay

How many video's do you share in a day? How many in one week?

We share video's on Facebook every day, I share to Twitter, Blogger, Pinterest to name just a few. But wouldn't it be great if you had a platform that tracked your video shares and monetised with ppv or through ppc? If you know of any platforms that can do this then please let me know, I would love to hear from you.

I've been searching the web for some time now and although several platforms are offering this opportunity, being paid to share video content is still a relatively new experience. Here are several places worth signing up with that offer partnership deals, prizes and monetization.

You can upload original video content to Break and if your work is featured on their front page they will pay you up to $600. Content must be original and you can obtain a license to suit your needs.

Dailymotion offer a partnership service and will pay you up to an impressive 70% on ad revenue alone. They also have a streaming service you can add to your website to earn even more money plus you can also sell your own videos.

Waywire are a provider of cloud based video content curation solutions. Upload and share engaging video content to your website from hundreds of top quality sources.
Track your video with full analytics and powerful insights.

It has taken some time but YouTube now offer a partnership plus a full management and development platform to grow your business. If you have your own YouTube channel you can now also place ads on your videos. Facebook are very soon to follow suit if they haven't already.

I have a great tip for you here but you need to keep this to yourself. If you are looking to market a product then search for viral videos on YouTube and presuming you already have an account and you are signed up as a partner you will be able to contact the vender of the viral video. Offer them a % of sales if they let you place your ad on their viral video. It's a great way to market a product and a little secret to monetizing from other peoples videos.

MetaCafe offer a submission service and they will pay you if your video or short film receives enough views. However although you retain the rights to your work they are allowed to edit and change your work as they wish but it will still remain only on their platform, this also applies to people who view your work.

Other places worth considering are Project Ed who offer cash prizes. Upload to Stupidvideos where you can win Go Pro cameras and gear plus QuickSilver goodies and trendy clothing. Filmaka also offer cash prizes plus full community support. Our Stage are always looking for talent and offer competitions for musicians, singers and video makers. You'll find daily contests for video makers at Online Video Contests. They offer cash prizes and it is also a great way for you to get your work seen and at the same time see if your work is up to the mark. One other site to keep an eye on is MoFilm who offer filmmakers unique opportunities, contests and competitions all year round.

Please add your own finds to the list above of places to get paid for your video work. Or if you are able to develop a script such as monetized video sharing and know how to build such a platform I would also be interested in hearing from you.
